Assessment of senior managers.
In-depth assessment of applicants for Chief Executive and other senior management positions is a commonplace occurrence in the public and private sector.  Assessment centres enable a rigorous evaluation of candidates' capabilities and provide decision makers with valuable insights into the benefits and risks individual candidates offer an organisation in a particular role.
Dave will describe what assessment centres involve for candidates, the capabilities typically assessed, and how the assessments are made and reported. He will also outline what can often 'derail' individuals' leadership and management performance in senior positions.

Dave is a Director of Cerno Limited, an organisational psychology practice involving a team of psychologists specialising in individual and organisational assessment. Over the last 20 years, he has been involved in development and assessment centres, change management design and facilitation, 360° surveys, culture and climate assessment, and senior management facilitation.
