It's always a difficult call to get up early on a Saturday morning after a hard week in the office and I could see that on some of the faces at The Abel Tasman Hotel as they walked in to a day that they weren't sure what to expect.

However, I believe that no one was disappointed with what was in store for them and the whole group discussed difficult situations they'd been in because they weren't sure how to communicate with that person, or was it the other way round? Having learnt more about how people communicate in different ways, the Think, Feel Know became clearer and helped us all to see why we sometimes have easy and also hard conversations. It made us all Think a little more about what and how we do things, Feel that it is actually OK to be different and Know that we can do something about it if we wish. There were spot prizes as well as a raffle, the 1st prize going to Lynn who can now do her Think, Feel Know indicator!

Thanks again to those that donated prizes- Rebecca Dobb's CEO especially for the 6 bottles of wine

The Hotel "famil" worked well with one group having lunch whilst the other looked around the facilities.

The afternoon session was lively, energetic and, although few words were spoken, there was a lot of energetic sounds coming from the Tasman room we were in! It was the Human Rhythms group where we all communicated together through playing the drums- from the energy that was put in by the ladies, it was fun, energizing and gave us all time to let our feeling out through playing rather than talking. You will see from the photos just how much people were enjoying themselves!

We finished the day by having Asian nibbles and a glass of wine in the bistro belonging to the hotel where we chatted, caught up on life in general and laughed a lot!

It was a really good day- thanks to PACE for allowing this to happen.
