We have invited William Davenport to speak to the members and as an added bonus we will present the results of the recent survey. William Davenport
William is the talented owner of Marvel Media Ltd a publishing company in Wellington based in Island Bay. Wellington Woman and Café Culture are two of the magazines William publishes. Both are a delight to read from cover to cover. William has had a long career in the printing business so knows what he’s doing. He wanted to work for himself and came up with some ideas which he’ll hopefully tell us about. His decision, after talking to many women who were either managing or were owners of small to medium sized businesses, was to launch a magazine that would inspire and inform women in Wellington. So, despite the economic climate he was determined to get this right. And so Wellington Women was launched in the winter of 2009. He is an inspiration in terms of what can be done with a passion behind you.
Don't forget you can also invite prospective members to the meeting. An invitation is attached. Remember guests are eligible to attend up to two meetings before deciding whether or not they would like to join PACE.
